[Trouble Shooting] 

Dell PowerEdge R330 - Ubuntu 14.04 

Black Screen in Booting / syslog - mei_me hw failure

다산데이타 입니다. 

[증상] 

Dell PowerEdge R330에 Ubuntu 14.04 Server를 설치 한 후 

로그인 화면이 나타나지 않고 블랙스크린이 발생 하였습니다.

Ctrl + Alt + F2 를 누르면 로그인 화면이 나타나긴 합니다.

syslog를 살펴보니 mei_me 데몬에서 오류를 표시하고 있습니다. 

/etc/default/grub.cfg 에서 quiet 와 splash 를 지우고 

update-grub를 한 후 재부팅 하면 로그인 화면이 나타나긴 하지만 

오류 메시지는 여전히 표시되고 있었습니다

[해결방법]

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf  파일에 

blacklist mei_me 를 추가한 후 재부팅.

문제가 해결 되었습니다.
